Wild Bill Hagy Oldie but Goodie

This comes from a 1979 news "magazine", apparently on WJZ. Highlights include a little interview with Elrod Hendricks, a Marty Bass sighting, and a seemingly impossible 7 minutes and 54 seconds on Baltimore with the only black people shown being the players.

The O-R-I-O-L-E-S chant is a classic.

My God, we have a woman reading our blog!!!! J-Red and Brien, we've struck gold!! And after living in Baltimore for three years for law school, let me tell you the City of Baltimore would kill (well maybe not the right word given that they're on the brink of their 200th homicide of the year) for 10,000 more Wild Bill Hagys in the city, and 10,000 less Avon Barksdales. And I watch that video and have total respect for the O's fanbase and have a greater appreciation for the total pain and despair the past ten years must've caused them.

To be clear, Jeremy meant that the City would like 10,000 more non-criminals in exchange for 10,000 crime lords. He wasn't implying that Baltimore needs more whites and fewer blacks.

Yes, it now occurs to me that if people aren't familiar with The Wire (and if they are not, they have no idea what they're missing), my post would've come off as Campanis-esque.
