PhiLLLLip Rivers... still a little bitch.

Video to come, but wanted to post this as soon as I saw it. So the Chargers amazingly stop the Colts on fourth down to guarantee the ballgame. And what does the camera cut to? PhiLLLLip (one L for each of his losses with NC State against the Terps) walking right up to the railing at the RCA Dome and getting into a very colorful taunting exchange with Colts fans. Hey, by the way PhiLLLLip... you didn't score the go-ahead TD nor lead the team on the go-ahead drive all the way down the field. Maybe it's time you cut out your idiotic, needless trash-talking, and grow the fuck up. People wondered what went on in that altercation between L.T. and PhiLLLLip earlier this season. Well given that L.T. has been nothing but upstanding in his time in the league, and PhiLLLLip has proven to be a pouty, arrogant, taunting, S.O.B., I think we know who the culprit there was.

Still an impressive victory by the Chargers and an impressive choke by Peyton.

Oh, Jeremy.

PhiLLLLip Rivers did not show the greatest judgment by jawing at the fans who had been riding him from the stands, but it's not really the greatest sin in the world, either.

And L.T., you may recall, had his own little hissy-fit last year when he complained about the Patriots and their mocking of Shawne "Steroid User/Terp alum" Merriman's dumb dance.

Anyhow, I assume this means you will be rooting for Tom Brady next week, since you hate Rivers so much. Good choice.

I'm rooting for Billy Volek.

Great contribution Jeremy! Another classy guy from Maryland speaks out. How about trying to write a paragraph without using the f word like most decent writers. Oh I forgot you are just following in the footsteps of your lunatic, heart attack waiting to happen coach Gary Williams. You my dear need to grow up. Jealousy can eat you alive.

So, Jeremy. Is Mary from UVA, Duke or NC State? I can often make the distinction between OSU and MSU posts, but I do not have that talent with the ACC schools.

She sounds like UVA because that was kind of a snobby, arogant post. Actually, maybe that could be Duke.

Well, certainly I would have guessed UVA or Duke for that reason. But since she's sort of coming to the aid of Rivers, I threw in NC State.

I'm not sure where she's getting jealousy from...I didn't see any jealousy from Jeremy there. I mean, a 4-0 record against Rivers shouldn't make one jealous.

Actually, it does make me wonder why Jeremy has such animosity for Rivers since Maryland owned him, and there isn't a big MD-NC State rivalry, to my knowledge.

Chuck Amato and Herb Sendek say hello. Thanks for reading my Wolfpack friend.

Hmm...well I'm a Duke fan, and I know that Duke football sucks, as should all Duke fans and I think we've come to that acceptance. So bash the football team!...I do it.

But I don't get how you can mix a post about Football with Gary Williams.

So I'm going to guess she's a NC State fan.

I'm also a Colts fan and I don't think what Rivers did was classy at all. He did it once before in that game while he was going to the locker room for x-rays, not just at the end.

Plus, if a Maryland coach is going to have a heart attack, my vote is on Ralph Friedgen.

We can rule out Wake Forest. I don't think their fans would wish heart attacks on other coaches after Skip died.

The L.T. hissy fit last year might have been one of the most instantly damaging PR moves of all time.

i like the chargers last year, and it possibly helped that the ravens cooked them in the regular season. LT was an admirable character and a great athlete and i was quietly rooting for rivers to silence his doubters.

watching the game yesterday, i couldn't help but feeling that rivers was acting like a d-bag on the sidelines.

the whole chargers team def hurt its reputation since last year - they remind me a little bit of a more talented bengals squad (thinking your team is entitled to success and being considered the best).
