Repping for the Eastern Shore

This is J-Red with the 22 inch and 3 pound rockfish he caught yesterday. It was the biggest fish we caught all day. It's a good thing he didn't get embarrassed by a bunch of seasick suburbanites. You would think that, being from the Eastern Shore, he'd know how to hold a fish right side up. Don't they teach that sort of thing in middle school over there?

The fish is bigger than it looks--my hands are huge. I guess Ladiesdotdotdot didn't pick up on that in their recent hottest blogger contest.

If you knew anything about Eastern Shore culture, you'd know that holding the biggest fish upside down is code for "I'm giving the Harford County private Catholic school kids a day on the werter." It's no surprise no one called me on it.

And it might not be a coincidence that I am holding the fish in the approved Guitar Hero II stance.
