Preakness Quiz

What better way to get into the Preakness spirit than with a Preakness Trivia Quiz?

600. Not bad for somebody who follows horse racing on two Saturdays of the year (three if there is a Triple Crown threat).

Good, I was trying to make it easy enough that casual fans would enjoy it, but hard enough that no one would get a 1000

4/10. And I consider that to be outstanding, considering I only knew two of them and took wild uneducated guesses on the others. Not bad for someone who follows horse racing zero days per year.

600, but I blew a couple I knew the answer to. (Bernadini, Tank's Prospect)

I am not ashamed to say I got a 0. Usually I can guess and get a couple right but not this time. Of course, I am one who watches the Kentucky Derby, watches the preakness to see if the Derby winner wins and watches the other one (what's it called? starts with a B, I think) only if there is a chance at a triple crown.

Of course that is all dependent on whether or not I remember that they are on or if I am watching some playoff hockey and they cut away in overtime to bring you horses walking around an hour before the race.

I got a 700, and I knew just about nothing about the Preakness before I read the re-posted 2007 Preakness Coverage here on East Coast Bias a few days ago. I had a mix of educated guesses (such as my old rule from Trivial Pursuit: always go with Eddie Arcaro for any jockey question) and things I learned here (like Black-eyed Susans and odd-fraction track lengths).

I got a 200. I don't know squat about Horse Racing, but I know some stuff about Maryland. And with that I got the official drink, and the Old Hill Top question right.
