What a miraculous recovery Everett made. Too bad he got himself in trouble with the law during his time off the field.

Actually it's WPEC CBS-12 "Covering the Palm Beaches and the Treasure Coast".
The sportscaster, Pat Murphy, appears to be a pro (based on his bio), so I'm sticking with the idea that he either has a moronic production assistant or a very pissed off one.

Being from Michigan, I'll be the one to take pity on you.
1) That was not Everett. Thus Murphy's remark: "That was the wrong video."
2) Everett suffered a paralyzing spinal injury earlier this year with the Bills on the field. It was a potentially life-threatening injury. Since then, he has made a miraculous recovery and Murphy was reporting that he is expected to walk again.
It was actually on the news in Michigan.
you will have to excuse us in the Detroit area, we had to break out the smelling salts over the last lions win....we were so happy that we forgot all about the government shutting down. two fingers up though to mr. everett. years ago, a fellow lion was in the same situation. best wishes and prayers to his family.
Mike Utley. I think he is the last to not recover from an NFL spinal injury.
