It was really amazing after the UM-MSU game. It was like watching the same game twice.

Once I had resigned myself to thinking Tom Brady was going to lose, I realized how little this game actually mattered. So when the Pats came back and won, I had to curb my enthusiasm.

Honestly, I was hoping the Pats would run up the score on Indy and show they are the greatest thing since sliced bread. All that was proven today was it will be one hell of an AFC championship game that could go either way...unless the Pats are just toying with the Colts.

I was hoping the Pats would run up the score too, because I got the spread at -4.5, and I wanted a 4-1 week to possibly overtake Jeremy.

Mid-game, it occurred to me that Belichick is not the same coach in big games. He plays very close to the vest, as he did in all three Super Bowls and many of the playoff games leading to them.

Oh, good point. It must be point-shaving by Brady and Belichick.
